Copacabana and Ipanema belong to the most touristic areas of the world, but only developed in the 20th century. Numerous urban projects helped Copacabana to start growing rapidly in the glamorous Golden Twenties. On this tour, we will study the hyper dense urban layers of this neighborhood as well as the boardwalk designed in the late 1960s by Roberto Burle Marx.
