#18 Inhotim Contemporary Art and Architecture [Belo Horizonte]
Spread across more than 140 hectares of lush gardens, tropical forest, and carefully designed architecture, Inhotim is one of the world’s largest open-air museums of contemporary art. Conceived by entrepreneur Bernardo Paz in the 1980s and opened to the public in 2006, the institute redefines the relationship between art and space.
More than 700 works by over 60 artists from around 40 countries are displayed throughout the grounds, many of them housed in pavilions designed specifically for the pieces they contain.
Inhotim’s immersive approach creates a rare harmony between art, architecture, and landscape, offering a deeply engaging, sensorial and contemplative experience. This day trip invites you to explore a selection of its most striking works and architectural highlights.
This tour includes transportation, it is available in 8 hours duration. Hotel pickup in the center.
